An artist’s opinion:-stencil is well made, just as advertised, images are clear and sharp. Well packaged and delivered timely. Worth the money-use a high contrast, matte or eggshell paint from your wall. Shiny finishes would not work well-I taped a folded piece of paper towel on my wall for blotting. Made the process faster and easier (pictured)-certain areas wouldn’t lay flat, like around the deer (pictured). I placed a small piece of painters tape behind and solved it.-you don’t need a ton of skill but I can’t imagine using a roller with this. I used stencil brushes and cheap foam brushes. This helped me brush off some paint to create a more painterly look-bleeding will occur, it’s not your fault, but these areas will blend into the pattern. I went back with a small brush and fixed a few spots-this will take forever but it’s worth it! Each stencil takes me around 30-45 mins. But it looks like vintage wallpaper-use the least amount of paint possible and do a test before starting. I used 5 behr matte color samples as pictured (glazed ginger, dry brown, secluded woods, spinach dip and fertile green) and so far with half the wall done there’s plenty leftIt’s a labor of love but looks great for my vintage styled bedroom. Would recommend to anyone
